About - How We Started
WemX Billing was founded back in 2018 by Gigabait. Right after it was founded, Falcon and Sylensky joined in. WemX is owned by Vertisan Cooperation. Formerly known as Gigabait Development.
Vertisan started out developing themes and module primarily for NamelessMC. After some time, we started making themes for NamelessMC such as Lectric, NextGen and Nexus which later on went open source. At the time our Discord server had about 200 members. During this time Padow joined our team.
Having gained some experience in theme and module development, we decided to move to other software like Pterodactyl. We made our signature theme "Unix" that not only had good looks, but a strong backend with settings and options. It became a very popular, far more than we previously had imagined. What made "Unix" stand out from the competition was the reimagined design, the ease to change settings and the quality of support. In that year we released more themes and modules.
We had plans on building a Billing System, but never got around to it until Caponne, a user in our Discord, submitted a request asking us to build a Billing System. We made an agreement which stated that we owned all resell rights. Falcon and Gigabait immediately started designing the module. The sheer amount of 1400 commits on GitHub in the first month were only achievable by working day and night on this project. After about a month, we finally had a stable enough version to be used commercially.
Our Discord has about 2600 members now and counting. We serve hundreds of users on a daily basis.
